As an over-thinker, I’m currently overthinking what to write in this about me article, as this is one of my first ever posts on Medium. I’ve been on Medium for years as a reader and have always wanted to write, but I had no clue where to begin because of all the different things I could write about. And when I say I have always wanted to write, I mean since I was in elementary school when I asked for a typewriter for Christmas to type stories on; and when I was in middle school looking forward to high school, as one of my high school goals was to be on the newspaper and yearbook staff. Well, I got the typewriter and I was co-editor of my high school’s newspaper and yearbook staff. You’d think that maybe journalism was in my collegiate future but nope, I didn’t even pursue my true first love of art as a major in college. Sometime in 2022, I tried a bit of blogging on my art website, but I didn’t commit to it because I still didn’t feel like I knew what to consistently write about without being all over the place. It wouldn’t be until the spring of 2024 when my inner writer would decide that the time was now. But more on all of that later, let’s just start from the beginning…
