Why I Joined Medium and now grateful I did
Hi my name is Charlie and I live in the United Kingdom. Just a small part of it — not all of the Kingdom!
My friend Sophia has encouraged me to join Medium, and I’m hopeful that she will guide me along this writing path.
By day, I am a CAD designer by night I am now a writer for Medium! I might be a morning writer also.
I hope that I can write at least three stories a week.
I am an avid reader, although I mostly listen to audiobooks and enjoy podcasts.
I am inspired by Hemingway’s direct and to-the-point writing style, and I aim to bring a similar approach to my work on Medium.
At this point, I’m not sure if I want to focus on a specific niche. For now, I am just writing and seeing where it takes me.
I enjoy discovering unusual recipes, cooking them, and dining out at unique and sometimes quirky restaurants. The strangest one I’ve visited was a bug restaurant, but that’s a story for another time.
I love to travel and skydive. So far, my skydiving experience has been limited to a simulator in London, but I hope to take to the real skies soon. I regularly play football and go to the gym.
I am a health enthusiast. I’ve been an Arsenal FC supporter for the last 20 years! From when I was 10!
Games love to play games online, presently I am into.
