About Me — Chris McCumskey
Baby Boomer and proud of it
I am a proud Boomer born in 1954 in South Africa and find this modern world increasingly confusing. Nevertheless, I temper my cynicism with my optimistic nature and still believe that most people are inherently good.
My wife and I have been married for forty-four years and have brought three great kids into the world. They have dutifully produced four wonderful grandchildren for us to spoil.
Sadly, we are spread all over the world at the moment. I am currently living and working in Fleet, a small town not far from London and my better half is back in South Africa (a long story)

My eldest son and his family are in Portugal and my daughter and youngest son are also in South Africa, close to their Mom.
I have been writing since I was about twelve years old and I particularly enjoy writing poetry. Some of it is quite good and some of it, I like to think, is pretty darn good. A few of them are published here on Medium.
