Hi there! I’m Daniela. I just turned 33, and I’m still trying to figure out my life. Do we ever succeed at it? If so, please let me know; I might need some guidance.
Welcome to my mind!
I’ve been working as a software engineer for the past eight years, and I always say that I like to try new things, but after being kicked out of my comfort zone, I’m not sure if that’s true anymore. You see, I need to find a new job, and after working for so long with the same team, going somewhere new sounds equally as exciting as terrifying. So I decided, as the good millennial I am, to pour all my thoughts and feelings on a “blog” (but also, I know it’s not 2005 anymore, so not really a blog, but Medium!). I hope that by writing about my journey while I find my next great project, I can serve as a companion to someone going through something similar, someone getting out of their comfort zone, either by choice or, like me, with the help of a little push.
Now that you know my mission, I’d like to share more about myself, my authentic self, and not the perfectly curated story I’ve been telling in my job interviews.
