About Me — Daniela Singlel
Hello everyone, I’m Daniela. It’s a pleasure to have you on my page!
In the midst of the pandemic, feeling unfulfilled by work and life in general, I did something most people wouldn’t recommend: I quit my corporate marketing job, hauled all of my possessions from London to Prague, and set out on a mission to ‘make it’ as a freelance writer and content creator.
Not everyone is crazy enough to leave a stable job during the multi-crisis year of 2020, but someone had to! And I guess that person is me. I’m a big believer that my best work happens under pressure, when my only options are to sink or swim. So here I am in the deep end, trying to see if I have what it takes.
Unsurprisingly, my writing on Medium reflects these lived experiences. I write about how the way we work is changing, trends in media and marketing, and how we‘re coping with everything going on around us. If you are someone that enjoys hearing about these things from the perspective of a 20-something, then you may just enjoy some of my work.
