Turning thoughts into words, and silence into expression.

My name is Desire.
I am from Nigeria.
I have lived most of my life in the quiet corners of my own mind.
Not because I am shy, and not because I lack words—
but because silence is where I understand life the best.
I am an introvert.
Silence is my oxygen.
Stillness is my comfort.
And observation is my natural language.
While others rush to speak, I take my time.
I watch. I think. I learn.
People call it being quiet, but to me, it’s being present.
I notice the way people speak, and even more, the words they do not say.
I have always been the watcher—the thinker—the dreamer.
My mind is full of ideas, questions, possibilities, entire worlds that don’t exist anywhere except inside me. Sometimes, I have so much to say, but the words fall apart before they reach my mouth. So instead of speaking, I write. Writing helps me release what refuses to stay quiet inside.
