My dad was a kind of Oppenheimer, a science man
The older I get, the more interesting my life becomes. What a joy! What an adventure! From the beginning, I must warn you that I live a life of meaning. Diving a bit deeper than most into work and life and changing world systems for the better.
My life started at a nuclear plant on the edge of Belgium and the Netherlands. It’s where my dad worked on nuclear energy systems. It’s a below sea-level place in the lowlands of Europe. Close to the north sea between UK and the continent.
IN the earth if you wish… The town is called Mol. Mole. With many rivers flowing fast past and through and finding the path of least resistance.
My dad was a kind of Oppenheimer, a science man. Left-handed, which means super creative and inventive. A dominant rightside brain half. He became super rational and logical (left-sided) because of his life experiences. WWII was his background when growing up.
Colonial war (age 17) resulted in severe PTSD. And he infected that fear and extreme caution into us, his two daughters. I’m the youngest.
While normal youngsters went to highschool, my dad’s generation grew up with…
