Hey! I’m Eric, a passionate storyteller and professional in the world of digital media.

Originally I am from Albany, NY, But I’ve lived in five different states — New York, Arizona, Tennessee, Florida, and Colorado — each contributing to my journey as a creator.

My career spans across various roles: videographer, photographer, creative director, and project manager. These roles aren’t just titles; they represent my commitment to mastering every aspect of visual storytelling and trying to be the best creative I can be.

The journey has been about turning visions into reality and helping my clients scale to heights they didn’t believe were possible. My path into videography was deeply influenced by a childhood marked by constant movement and profound caregiving responsibilities. It’s not your typical path of going to film school and getting a degree. I learned everything off Youtube from creators like Justin Odisho and I dropped out of the digital media program in college after one semester.

Growing up, I learned invaluable lessons in resilience and empathy while caring for my loved ones through challenging times. I was born in 1994 and from 2001–2017 I was a caregiver for my grandfather, grandmother and ultimately my own father.

These experiences shaped not only my personal values but also my professional approach. I have a much deeper understanding of human connection now based on what I went through growing up and it’s shown throughout my business helping foster lasting relationships with clients.

In 2017, my father passed away due to various illnesses, a writer whose foresight into the digital age deeply impacted my own writing journey. He wrote articles for magazines in the 90s and kept telling people “The internet is going to be this big thing and change the world” People thought he was crazy. Turns out he was right.

His legacy inspired me to blend my love for storytelling with my own perspectives on Medium. Here, I plan to share my reflections on videography, industry insights, and strategies for my fellow creatives to become better and not make the same mistakes I did coming up in the industry.

My family holds a special place in my heart, with my roots tracing back to Trapani, Sicily, Italy on my fathers side and Guayama, Puerto Rico on my mothers side. These cultural influences drive me and I hope to contribute to both of these places in my future through content creation.

Documentary work for me is the plan as I want to tell stories that truly matter and our timeless. Some of my inspirations for the work I’d like to do are Bianca Graulau as well as La Mafia on Youtube.

Excitingly, I’m preparing to relocate to Puerto Rico by years end. I’m pursing a goal of creating documentary work on the island, being near family, and embracing a place I love to visit and now want to live.

Beyond my professional life, I’m a huge cat person, I love to read books to continue to educate myself on how I can be a better human, I listen to lofi music, meditate, enjoy yoga and I practice jiu jitsu.

If you’re looking for help with your videography career, I offer 1 on 1 coaching or if you just wanna chat about anything I’ve mentioned above, feel free to reach out. I love connecting with new people and I have friends from all around the world that I could possibly connect you with too.
