I wish I could read this story and find out who I am!
Before signing up on Medium, I devised a carefully planned strategy for who I wanted to be as a writer.
That tells you the first thing about me: I’m a planner. A perfectionist. A logical, pragmatic, no-nonsense person.
The thing is, I am usually consistent when it comes to sticking to my plan. But this time, hours after signing up, I completely ignored everything my notes said and started feverishly writing about anything that crossed my mind.
That is not like me at all. But there’s a reason for it.
In the last twelve months, just like the Queen, I did at least six impossible things before breakfast. There is only one impossible thing left to try — and here I am, still sitting on the edge of the unknown, with my legs swinging, thinking: “I may as well try this one out too.”
And this one impossible thing left is writing.
But let’s start from the beginning.
I am a learner.
I have always been. I studied physics, got into teaching, specialized, attended courses, gathered certifications. Then I turned to languages…
