The Distant Land
My name is Femi, and I like to call myself ‘the expressionist’. I am a music producer/multimedia designer who enjoys writing. I’ve always fancied writing even though my adventures into the ‘land of words’ was not always defined from the start. Like the eagle that has soared high and low over lands and rivers, I have wandered the wild and now I am ‘nesting’ on Medium.
You could say I’m introverted, well, I just know I enjoy my me-times. I’m able to embrace solitude like a monk. In those periods, I’m able to reflect, clear my mind, set my thoughts free, travel through time (and space), wondering why things are the way they are.
I didn’t know about Medium when i first veered into blogging, because if I did, I would also have been telling tales of “How I made ten thousand dollars every month” like some of the writers on here — we know that for a number of them it’s actually for clout & the engagements.
So How Did It Start?
I started my first blog in about 2021, it was WordPress site and was honestly a topsy-turvy ride. I had to quickly learn and relearn a lot of stuff like SEO, website security, article formatting, accessibility, usability etc. which i found enjoyable…
