New Sexagenarian! Scottish Australian based adoring hands-off Mum of amazing adults, shonky wife, enthusiastic actress and writer, resting Teacher and clumsy fool. Then I hate myself for years, and struggle to recognise I’m actually not the sole contributor to the disaster. I am spending a lot of time getting into the minds of others as an actress and nosy person. However mining the depths of my own junkyard of a brain, trying to tidy or at least impose some order there informs most of my writing.
I began writing scripts initially, because if no one else was giving an older actress work, then I thought I’d create my own. This was not actually without some success as I co founded a Theatre group with a friend and we were bowling along quite happily until Covid hit. I do post some of my monologues on Medium, if any actors want to perform them please do, just credit me as the writer, Thank you.

I have very supportive family and friends and regard myself very lucky to be able to spend time doing things I enjoy. I rather wish I’d been doing this some years, well some decades back. I hope you will enjoy my monologues and little tales, I promise to keep improving!
