Background
Hey everyone! I’m Grant! I’m 24 years old, I was born in Nebraska and lived there for 14 years before moving to California and doing my high school there. I have four siblings and a mom and a dad, and I am currently living in Utah.
Education
I am majoring in History and Social Sciences education at my university, hoping to become a history teacher or university professor teaching history.
Youtube
I have two Youtube channels; Desk of pens, and straightfromthedesk. Desk of pens is a pen review channel, I have had this channel for over a year now and am scaling up the production, I have 936 subscribers as of this post and want to get to 1,000 before the end of August! straightfromthedesk is about History and Social Sciences, more connected with my major. I want to be able to funnel what I am learning into this Youtube channel. I launched it last month and am currently working on my first video of this channel. It currently has 14 subscribers as of this post.
Hobbies
I love to read, write, exercise, and am an enjoyer of cinema. I also really love pen collecting (haha) and going on adventures with friends, even if it is just a quick trip to sonic. Additionally, I enjoy going to parks, sunbathing (it’s so warm in Utah right now!) and working on creative projects like my books or Youtube channels.
Self Help
I feel this is worthy of its own section because I am a self-help nut! I love reading books, watching Youtube videos, and reading articles about self help and not only that but self-improvement that can enhance ones life.
Why I joined Medium
