Where it all started
the origin of a forever-flourishing passion
Thirty-one years ago, my mother decided to welcome me onto this lovely planet, more specifically, in Upstate New York.
From a young age, my mother primarily raised me, doing the work of two parents. I’ll be the first to admit it — I wasn’t an easy individual to raise. I was diagnosed with ADHD at a young age, constantly getting in trouble at school for something I couldn’t control.
I was also diagnosed with a mild case of bipolar disorder and later, depression. I obviously had my struggles and my mother certainly had her hands full. However, she was nothing less of a superhero for everything that she had done to help me succeed. I’m forever grateful for her.
