About Me — Henrik Ståhl

This is my least favorite topic. You have been warned!

I’m pretty bad at this. You know, talking about myself this way. It’s not because I’m embarrassed or uncomfortable. I just don’t think Henrik Ståhl is a particularly interesting topic.

So why would anything I write be interesting, you might ask? The answer to that is: I don’t know. Maybe it isn’t interesting to anyone but me. And that’s fine.

I’m not writing on Medium in the hopes of becoming viral.

I’m not in it for the money (although I’m both happy and humbled by the fact that I make a few extra bucks every month thanks to the Medium Partner Program).

And I’m not doing it to become a full-time writer. I worked in journalism for a very long time before changing careers some 7+ years ago, and I have no plans of going back.

I’m a Medium writer because

1. I enjoy learning and I enjoy writing,
2. writing helps me sort my thoughts and grow as a learner,
3. I like Medium and have been a fan of the platform for more than 8 years.

I’d rather have 20 followers with whom I exchange profound thoughts and engage in discussions that potentially alter the way I perceive things than 2000 followers who…
