About Me — Henry B
Hello, My name is Henry but I go by Hendew. This was a childhood nickname given to me by my older brother Robert. He never had a meaning behind it either but it just stuck.
I am from Kansas City, MO born and raised. GO CHIEFS!!! The Royals are ok too.
I am currently driving for a couple of ridesharing companies and writing on the side as of now thanks to an article I read by
which motivated me to start finally. I always enjoyed writing when I was in school but never took it seriously. I wrote sports articles for my high school newspaper(GO Raytown Bluejays) but again didn’t take it seriously. My newspaper teacher loved my writing and tried to push me to pursue it further and apply to Mizzou for journalism but I honestly didn’t think my work was that good. She saw something in me that I didn’t see in myself and entered one of my articles into a competition and I ended up coming in 3rd place in the entire state of Missouri. Even after this I still did not think it was that good. 18-year-old boys can be dense. Mrs. Davidson, if you are somehow reading this I wish I would have listened to you.
