About Me — Hina Arah
Simply me.
From scribbling on the backs of notebooks to writing regularly on Medium
The journey hasn’t been smooth.
For me, writing my thoughts on paper was always easier than sharing them with someone.
In fact, the hardest part was letting others read what I had written.
Scraps of paper, newspapers, receipts, even tissues.
They became my go-to chatbot, quietly holding my thoughts in ink.
The refinement began when those scattered pages were gathered and bundled into a book.
It gave me the courage to share my words with the people around me.
It felt like burning my fear to ash.
And letting courage rise again, reborn like a phoenix.
What makes me wonder, and wander most, is the power of words.
Every word we read or write has the potential to linger in someone’s consciousness. That fascinates me the most.
Where Ghalib showed me how to express emotion in a single line,
Kafka revealed the weight words can carry within a story. And now, Medium has offered me a sea of thought to sail on.
If I were to define writing for myself,
it would be like making a bouquet from flowers.
Can express joy or sadness, anything depending on the moment.
So far, I’m loving this transformation phase. It’s a gentle relief, a way to satisfy the creative itch through writing.
