“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

New year, new job?

How about escaping the 9-to-5 grind and living the life of a digital nomad? 👩‍💻

Hi, I’m Ina — The Copy Think, a wanderlust-filled girl with a passion for exploring the world and discovering new cultures. I’ve always felt drawn to the road less traveled and longed for a life filled with adventure and excitement. After years of feeling unfulfilled in a traditional 9-to-5 job, I discovered the exciting world of the digital nomad and never looked back.

First, a little backstory.

I was born and raised in a small country called Albania, on south-eastern Europe’s Balkan Peninsula. Soon after finishing high school, I chose to continue my studies abroad, and not even two months later, I moved to Italy, where I still live. As you can see, the spirit of a nomadic lifestyle, used to be already in my soul.

Writing has always been my passion. I started writing poems, then essays, already in middle school. I would have liked to continue my studies in fields related to writing, but the college fees were out of my reach.

In life’s long journey, all of us have a series of steep hills to climb. And before we can reach the top, we need to learn how to climb.

It’s called life!

It has now been ten years since that day…
The day that I left my hometown.

With a lot of dreams that soon I had to put aside… Dreams that soon were replaced by the permanent place. After passing a few years in my comfort zone, in this 9 to 5 life circle, one day I found a book that changed my life.

I had my wake-up call thanks to this remarkable book.

Everybody has personal wake-up calls, but not everybody wakes up!
I realized that I was trapped in the vicious 9 to 5 circle work. Took a deep breath and for a moment thought about this: today’s average job requires you to work 9 to 5 from Monday to Friday, build a career, work at a traditional job, and retire at age 67.

And in the blink of an eye, you spent 45 years working instead of enjoying your youth and only have your “golden years” left. Now, I apologize if I just ruined your day and made you feel trapped. Let me make it up to you and tell you that life doesn’t have to suck.

To live the life you want, as saying goes, find a work you love!

The most important life lesson that I learned from that book was about Time.

Time is our greatest wealth!

All of us have been blessed with the gift of Time, but few of us spend it properly. Time is our most precious asset because we all run on limited time.

I realized I had to take control of my life.

I had to get out of my comfort zone!

I decided to live my life. I won’t let anymore my life just pass me by.

I chose to spend my time frugally; I spend it with my friends and my family, use it to make connections and build strong relationships but above all, I don’t give my time to someone else by working a job I don’t like.

Now, I’m ready to live life on my terms and pursue my dreams. The spirit of a digital nomad once again is calling my name. I’m taking the first step toward my dream life as a digital nomad and I’m discovering a world of endless possibilities. With my laptop and my desire to see the world, I will start to travel to destinations both near and far, immersing myself in local customs and gaining unique perspectives that will enrich my life. Whether it’s hiking through the mountains of South America or exploring the bustling cities of Asia, I know each new experience will be an opportunity for growth and self-discovery.

The journey won’t always be easy, but the rewards will be worth it!

What about you? Are you ready to answer your wake-up call?
