About Me— Jack Greig
I have always dreamed of being a writer, has dyslexia held me back?
I have always dreamed of being a writer. However, I always made excuses not to put myself out there, convincing myself that I would get to it later but never really starting. Recently, I decided that enough was enough, and that now was the time to pursue the dream I’ve held for most of my life.
I grew up in a small village outside of Glasgow in Scotland, where I still live today. I went to college various times and studied animation and jewellery But never settled into anything I really wanted to do. As well as moving from industry to industry looking for jobs I could settle into.
I ended up spending a great deal of time working in hospitality as a chef and eventually switching to security, where I am now. I started working as a CCTV operator at the end of last year and it has given me the freedom to start writing again.
Writing has always been on my mind, and like many others I started many novels and then left them wayside after a time. Digging into the pile and choosing a novel that has taken up space in my brain ever since I first put pen to paper. My current novel fixation Snowflake Pale, which I hope to finish the first draft of soon.
