Hi, everyone. I’m James :)

I started writing on Medium in November 2021. I’m pretty active on the platform and love making friends with other writers. So, if you haven’t already, leave a comment introducing yourself.

Let me tell you about the early days…

I was born and raised in a working-class town. My family didn’t have a lot of money. But we got by and were afforded the basic necessities of life.

In my teenage years, I read books for several hours per day to pass the time. Quite honestly, I had nothing better to do because my town was tiny. So, every evening before going to bed, I’d read a few dozen pages of a book that I borrowed from the local library. Well, I read as much as possible until my Mom came into my bedroom at midnight and told me to sleep.

To clear my mind, I’d go on long walks in the forest or by the beach. I’d escape civilization for a few hours to purposely get lost. I also enjoyed visiting the pet store, going to the library, or meeting friends at the movie theater.

Oh, the good ol’ days.

Life was much simpler back then.

I’m a huge fan of writers on Medium (and readers).
