“Hi, I’m Jan — a student hoping to share the lessons I learn from personal experiences to help you live your life to the fullest.”
That’s what my about page reads, but that doesn’t really paint the full picture, so let me tell you a bit about myself.
As of writing this article, today is my 16th birthday, and only now, as I’m writing this, do I realise just how fortunate I am that I still have almost my entire life ahead of me. I hope that my relatively young age can offer a fresh perspective on the topics that I’ll be writing about.
But first, since I still go to school (and that’s where I spend a lot of my time), I think it makes sense to start by briefly talking about my life as a student.
School Life
Overall, I’ve really enjoyed the time I’ve spent at school and for anyone reading this, who is still in school, I encourage you to enjoy this period of your life fully, while you still can.
In late June of this year, my GCSE exams finally came to an end, which for anyone who doesn’t know, are the big exams that every student living in the UK has to take at the end of secondary school.
