About Me — Jean Crawford Evans
Photographer, Crone, witch, artist, cook, fat activist, writer, and lady of leisure with a garden.
I am a retired university library employee who lives in the wilds of North Idaho with my hubby and 2 spoiled rotten kitties. I am a fantastic cook who enjoys good movies, the great outdoors, and creating. I have been a fat/size activist for many years now, ever since I got off the diet roller coaster and found that you don’t have to be a size 2 to have a wonderful life. I grew up a Navy Brat and when I came back to my place of birth to go to college, I discovered I love living in one place and I’ve been here ever since.
I’m a bit of a latecomer as an artist and photographer. While I dabbled in my early years, nothing seemed to gel, until my husband brought home a digital point-and-shoot and I was on my way to photographing anything and everything.
I never quite got the hang of drawing or painting with pencils or paint, but then I got a digital tablet and am finally getting the hang of it. I still a long way to go, slowly learning and practicing when I can.
I create art and jewelry out of dead computers and finally have my own studio out in the big shed where I can spread out and play with beads, bangles, and motherboards, and see what I can create to…
