About Me — Jeff Sibley
Jeff enjoys writing on a wide array of topics from history to technical topics. As part of his ‘Pay it Forward’ goals, he hopes to share some insights that may help make the world a better place to live.
I am a dyslexic writer who took up public writing after retiring as a Research Scientist. My main goal is to share some of what I have learned in my sixty-plus years of curiosity on many subjects that most would consider worthless and un-leverageable. I have always had a goal of leaving a place better than I found it whether physically or metaphorically. I got comfortable writing technical reports in my last role but having the freedom to write on anything that I want to has been refreshing by nature and is also prone to procrastination.

Everyone has a unique story to tell and I am no different. I am adopted from an unwed mother’s home in New Orleans. I have found that my birth mother was a distant cousin of my adopted mother and have met both my birth mother and birth father. My adopted parents were both from the WWII generation and I was raised as an only child. My adopted father, hear after referred to as my Dad since he was the father that was real to me, served in the Army…
