My name is Jen, and I live in Hobart, the capital of the island state of Tasmania, Australia, which is famous for its natural beauty, convict history, and unique wildlife. Hobart is a pretty little city with a river on one side and a mountain that is covered in snow in winter on the other.
I am in my late thirties and my family includes my two kids, a son aged seven and a daughter aged sixteen months, and a parkour-loving cat named Swipe.
I previously had a career as a social worker. However, the profession was not for me. So these days, I work as a freelance researcher/writer from home to spend more quality time with my little monsters.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
While I was born and currently live in Hobart, my family frequently moved interstate while growing up. I ended up attending ten different primary and high schools, which meant I missed big chunks of my education.
