Gameboards and little pieces

Each of us is a piece on the gameboard of Life.

How far down the gameboard are you? Which spaces have you landed on? Have you passed the little river or gone over the bridge?

I’ve made it about 1/3 of the way across the gameboard. I landed on the Diploma squares for High School and college.

I drew quite a few interesting career cards: Special Education teacher, Mental Health Case Manager, Home Health Assistant Coordinator, Traveling Merchandiser, Macy’s Department Store Associate…and a few more.

I exchanged my car color a few times and managed to get a few of the money cards, then I crossed the Choose a Spouse bridge a couple of years ago.

Currently, I’m at the Married-with-Kids square and am the indentured servant of an adorably tyrannical 1-year-old.

I’m not sure what I will roll next. I hope it’s Write-A-Bestselling-Book.

We will see! I’m in no hurry to finish the game.
