About Me — Jigar H Shah

One of the most difficult things to do is to talk about oneself. I want you to know about me, and because I’m new here, penning my thoughts is a little overwhelming. I’d be happy if you got to know about me through my stories. I’ll try to be conscious not to overshare and look like a braggart, and I don’t want to under-share because it may look like I haven’t lived much of a life!
To begin with, a little introduction about myself — I am Jigar Shah from Mumbai, India. I was born and brought up in a suburb of Mumbai. I am an IT engineer by education and have worked in a few well-known national and multinational companies over the past 28 years.
What brings me here, you ask? I have taken a sabbatical from work for a few months to give myself a change of pace and a break from the daily grind of politics and firefighting at the workplace.
I have quite a few likes and interests which I’ve been meaning to follow and enjoy, and I wanted to give myself the time to pursue what I want.
While I was on my transformative career journey a few years ago, I began learning and obtaining certifications in AWS…
