Dreams are possible, you just have to have the courage to go after them.
I am J. Araci. If my first name is quite common in Portugal, the country that gave birth to me, my second name is Brazilian, coming from a tribe very far away from my homeland. I love my name, I think it fits my personality quite well. Strangely enough, in Portugal, they don’t allow foreign names as first names. So my father, whose creativity must have been lacking when it came to naming me since his name was João, went for the female version of himself and baptized me, Joana.
I was born in 1990, but even more important is to mention where I was born, in the interior of Portugal. A place forgotten by the rest of Europe, almost like all the interiors of any world unknown to all of us.
Upon entering school, the best thing I have been given until today, I soon discovered that what I liked to do was read, imagine stories and listen to so many unknown ones.
Daughter of a small place I always dreamed of going out. I was brave enough and I did it. I flew to Brazil, Argentina, Chile, but it was in Italy that I discovered my second home. If reincarnation exists I am absolutely sure that in another life I lived there.
