About Me — Justin Boyette
It’s about time for a proper introduction!
At the end of this article, I’ll include links to my works mentioned. Supplemental material to enrich our digital relations here!
1 — A supernatural upbringing
I grew up believing in magic. In gods, spirits, and the like. That everyone on the earth is gifted in different capacities — abilities in intellect, physicality, or spirit — all of which constitute a healthy global-social ecosystem. Including the idiots. God bless the idiots.
My mother raised me on Catholicism and Reiki (alternative medicine with chakras ‘n shit). My father on beekeeping and martial arts. Both are well versed in erudition and empathy. Nerds.
Between the natural world and its spiritual counterpart, I developed a deep appreciation for nature. In what is observed with our eyes and in what lies beyond. Roots deep in the soil, head clear in the clouds.
And I’ve been content in this space between churches and tree lines. I enjoy learning about belief systems without fully subscribing to any of them — I feel it wasteful to practice a diet of only grains, only fruit, and so on. Humanity is better served with a wide palate. A little bit of everything.
