The Day I Failed,and Lost Everything I Thought I Was
Let me take you back to a classroom in India.
I was sitting with my math results in hand.
Eyes blurred. Breath caught. Future broken.
I had failed.
Not metaphorically. Not “barely missed it.”
I had failed my 12th-grade math exam .
The one subject I had to pass.
And with that red mark on a piece of paper, everything I had built my identity on… collapsed.
