About Me — Kamna Kirti
Let everything happen to you. Beauty and terror. Just keep going. No feeling is final.
“You are not born with a fixed amount of resilience. Like a muscle, you can build it up, draw on it when you need it. In that process, you will figure out who you really are — and you just might become the very best version of yourself.”
— Sheryl Sandberg
The last three years have been pretty intense for me — quitting my full-time IT job, dropped out of my Master’s program in the US because of visa issues, and seeing my physical health deteriorated.
I could either repent of the wrong choices I made and the misfortunes that happened or I could be more resilient, embrace the adversities, and move forward.
Courageously, I chose the latter!
Hi Everyone, My name is Kamna Kirti — a full-time writer, podcaster, and Youtuber based out of Colorado, US. In 2018, I left my IT job in India to be with my husband in the US. Certainly, it was not a sacrifice as our utmost priority was to be together.
And I’m glad I took that step. Leaving a 10-year IT career was not easy for me. I liked my job as a ‘Data Engineer’ and it was financially rewarding but I always missed the feeling of being content with my work.
