What does a standard Tuesday look like for you?
This question (what does a standard Tuesday look like for you 5 years from now?) was asked of me by one of my mentors/professors in my undergrad program just a few days before my graduation. I told him I wasn’t sure if I knew which direction I wanted to go professionally and he posed the above question. He said to think about it and that might help you figure some stuff out. That was 6 years ago. I am still trying to figure out the answer to this question but I think I have made progress in different elements in my life to get closer to what I want a Tuesday to look like for me…
Something I learned young is that people are going to say what they want to say about you and this can influence what you do and how you feel.
Goody goody.
People Pleaser.
You apologize too much.
Don’t do this.
Don’t do that.
Weird.
The list can go on and on.
I won’t lie when I say that it does affect me sometimes but I try to listen to the positivity that comes my way like:
Great friend.
Hard worker.
