My writing will probably be peppered with an assortment of seasonings: living in NYC, matrescence, anxiety & panic attacks, psychology, my faith in Christ, past modeling, traveling adventures and musings, dating in my mid-thirties, Arabic/the Middle East, and what I learned from being around religious sisters all the time: sometimes in poem form.

I have thousands of pictures of me in varying levels of dress & makeup; yet, this photo is my favorite. It’s not sexy, I don’t look like a model, and I certainly am not dressed like one! The reason it touches my soul is that I see beauty here in a way that goes beyond mere looks, and takes in my beautiful value no matter what I look like on the outside….

In the Beginning and Middle…

I have my roots in Rochester, NY, just south of Lake Ontario, about an hour and a half from Buffalo and Niagra Falls. The birthplace of Kodak, Xerox, U of R and Wegmans is where I spent almost 30 years of my life.
