The world shut down, my world revved up

Hi! My name is Kaelyne. Blogging has never been my niche, but I thought I would give it a try. Why not? It’s 2022 and I’m still alive. If you have lived through 2020 & 2021 then you know what I’m talking about.

Back in 2020 I was in desperate need of a job and hungering to be married. Unbeknownst to me, in the craziest year ever, I received both a job and a husband. When the world shut down my life started revving up.

To begin I went to a church plant that came out of a non-profit called the Denton Freedom House. If you have never heard of it that’s ok because I will probably write a blog about it at some point. To be continued…

This non-profit was looking for some women to come volunteer in their new Women’s Home. It was definitely a big change from living with my parents for several years. This women’s home is still up and running so if you need a place to go to heal from addiction consider Denton Freedom House. Men & women come from all over the nation so if you are far away still consider it.

Soon after starting that position, I met a very sweet man named Chase. Chase and I attended the same church group on Wednesday nights. I can tell you in more detail later how we came to know each other. As of now, I will just leave you with we courted for…
