I always struggle to find the right words to concisely and precisely describe myself. I feel I have, like we all do, so many different layers to my being. Surely it’s impossible to reduce that down to letters, words, and sentences.

But I shall try.

I’m a daughter, a sister, a partner, a cousin, a friend, a physicist, a PhD researcher, a reader, a writer, a serial hobbyist, a podcaster, a blogger, a scientist, a traveler, an NFT enthusiast, and more. I’m an introvert, and pretty shy, but I get louder the closer we get and the fewer people in a room.

Let me expound.

• I live in the UK, doing a PhD in a field at a crossroads because of the physical sciences and engineering, and I’m in my final year so I find myself constantly scrambling to get something done.
• I’ve been in the science and engineering field my entire academic and professional career, and envision continuing on post-PhD though likely transitioning back into the industry.
