Hi, I’m Kay— a writer, dreamer, and lifelong noticer of life’s little ironies. Somewhere between the pages of my journal and the corners of my mind, I discovered my voice: authentic, a little messy, sometimes painfully honest, but always mine. Writing, for me, isn’t just a craft — it’s therapy, exploration, and rebellion all rolled into one.

I’ve lived a life full of contrasts. I once dreamed of high-rise ambitions in San Francisco, living a polished, modern life. But I find myself now in India, rediscovering culture, family, and the quiet beauty of middle-class simplicity. My writing reflects this duality — the tension between who I thought I would be and who I am becoming.

Through my work, I dive into themes like self-discovery, healing, and the uncomfortable yet oddly liberating truths we find in life’s clichés. My book, Diary of Clichés, was born out of heartbreak, personal reflection, and the need to make sense of a chaotic year. It’s a love letter to the messy, universal experiences that shape us all.
