Hi, my name is Keri. I’m an ESL teacher and Communication coach. I work online and talk to people from around the world every day. I speak Spanish and Italian and am raising a teen and a toddler.
I recently moved back to the U.S. after living in Mexico for the last twenty years. I love Mexico, and I sometimes write about it. I learned so much from the experience. It shaped who I am and my worldview. I traveled a lot during that time and met people from all over the world. I also lived in Italy for a few years in the mid-2000s.
I’m currently going through reverse culture shock. Since we moved back, everything seems new different, and confusing. On my first Costco trip, I thought I was having an anxiety attack. It was so loud, bright, and overwhelming. Everything was so shiny.
Driving is new for me, too. I didn’t drive in Mexico or Italy. I know how to drive; I just hadn’t. Driving was a fear to overcome right away. I’ve been thinking a lot about fear lately…
