Hello! If you’re new to my writing, welcome!

I retired in June 2021 after a successful career as the business director for a group of physical therapy clinics in the Pacific Northwest. I have been writing for the bulk of my adult life and am very happy to be able to now be doing it full time.

My main writing interests could be condensed into the word AUTHENTICITY. Whether in leadership, parenting, or relationships, life is best lived authentically. My passion for authenticity came from spending years hiding my true self.

I came out of the closet at fifty, which effectively upended my twenty-five-year marriage and transformed my life. Though it was difficult, I am grateful to finally live transparently.

I was also fortunate to find the love of my life after coming out. We retired together in June 2021, sold our home, and traveled in a 21-foot teardrop trailer until the summer of 2024. We aren’t quite ready to settle down, but we are leaving RV life behind in favor of living bicoastally.
