My parents got married after three weeks, who knew it wouldn’t last? Despite this bad decision they made, they would go on to make many more.
A con artist, an addict, and a witch walk into a bar… wait a second I wasn’t telling a joke, that’s just a list of some of my ex stepparents.
Do not get me wrong I have very loving parents, which made me into a very loving parent.
I’d like to think I’m smarter than them, but that would be absolutely wrong. I dropped out of a dream business school so that I could live with my high school boyfriend and strip wire. Why I did not know he was a drug addict then is beyond me.
If you know anything about people that have been abusive relationships, they just don’t leave and learn their lesson.
I stayed for a very long time. I got pregnant with twins at 18, my boy Jax died when he was born. Child loss is a thing that will ruin your life. But the good news is it will also get you put on Zoloft.
Now on the other hand, if you have ever met someone that has left an abusive relationship. You know they left because them and their kids were going to get real hurt.
Some people just don’t learn their lesson, though, some people then go and get knocked up by a guy on Tinder and don’t find out until after he’s deployed again.
What ended up happening to me though?
I met a guy when I was three months pregnant, he’s the love of my life, and I can’t wait to marry him and have more kids. If you have read this far, you can assume by the rest of the story that he is much older than me.
