Hi, I’m Kirsty.

I live in Finland with my husband and our giant African land snails.

I often describe myself as “a writer, unicorn lover, and snail mom”.

I have a Master´s degree in literature.

Stories and fantasy have always been close to my heart. I’ve enjoyed escaping from reality since I was a kid.

Whether it´s writing fiction, reading books, playing video games, or just daydreaming, I have always enjoyed living in fantasies.

I guess I’ve never really grown up because I´m still very much into all pink, sparkling, and cute things; and unicorns! Well, I think growing up is overrated.

My Story

I grew up in Helsinki, Finland.

For my whole life, I’ve felt like I’m different. I never fit in.

I didn’t fit in at school or at the university. I struggled with depression and anxiety.

I thought just being shy and quiet couldn’t possibly explain all the hardships I’ve been through. But no one believed me.

When I was 28, I was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome and ADD. That changed my life. My Asperger’s diagnosis explained everything I had…
