I don’t know if I fully believe in the ability to manifest things into my reality, but I’m 90% sure I manifested three cats into my life. For months I would sit on the couch at night and ask my boyfriend to look at me.
“Just imagine if I had a cute cat purring right here on my lap, wouldn’t that be cute?”
“No, we can’t get a cat.” He’d say.
“What if I found one on the street, abandoned? A cute little kitten. Would you let me keep it?” I’d counter.
“That’s not going to happen.”
I went on about it for months.
Flash forward a few months later. We were driving home together when we saw three kittens huddled beneath an abandoned vehicle with missing tires — two white and one orange.
Long story short, I became a crazy cat lady at the age of twenty-five.
