Hi there, my name is Kittipon Rakwong. I was born and raised in Thailand in 2002, particularly living in Bangkok. Actually my nickname is “Bomb”, but most of my foreign friends call my “Kitty”. (anyway, it sounds too cute to me)
Background of me
I’ve always been fascinated by engineering, technology, and deep science topics since I was 4, and that interest led me to pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering at Chulalongkorn University. However, upon realizing that my expectations didn’t align with reality, I redirected my compass towards becoming a Data Scientist. I pursued internships with several companies across various industries, including banking, telecommunications, and fintech startups.
Somehow, it wasn’t what I expected, but it’s better. The title of Data Scientist often blurred into Data Analyst in Thai companies. So, my main day-to-day job is as a Data Analyst, with occasional forays into Machine Learning. This realization has prompted me to consider becoming an MBA candidate in the next few years.
The path has been paved by destiny
Now, as a Scholar Recipient of KBank Young Scholar, I see it as a gift from above, a rare opportunity bestowed upon only about 1 out of 1000. I’m eager to start writing articles to share my experiences, my journey, and how I will develop myself to become the best version that I can be. Hoping they will useful to readers in some sense.
