About Me — Klaus Wagner
A new Medium member
I was born in 1965 in Trier, a German town near the Luxemburg and French border. Trier is famous for its mosel wine and its roman heritage. Trier was founded 16 BC by the romans and there are still several roman buildings in this city like the Porta Nigra (Roman towngate):
I grew up in a little village near Trier with a younger sister and a younger brother. My father worked for the German Railways (Bundesbahn) and my mother quit her job after becoming mother. As a kid I enjoyed living in this little village at the river mosel. We strolled all over the places and had a carefree childhood.
Career
After finishing school and the military service I started studying business administration at the University of Trier including a semester at UCLA. I really loved to study in Los Angeles and it was a unique experience for me. At UCLA I met a guy who invited me six years later to his marriage. So I took the chance to go a second time to Los Angeles. I finished my study with the german equivalent to the mba.
