I’m One Of The Many Kyle’s Out There
Hey there, you can call me Kyle. I’m one of the many people with this 90s-dated name — thinking about it now, it is an essential name from that decade.
You might see that I also go by Kial online — a nickname that is close to my given name, so it’s not much of a contrast. And no, I don’t punch holes in drywall and drink Monster energy drinks (it is a meme, in case you are confused)
I decided to use Medium as a platform to both share my experiences and become a better writer. I’ve always considered myself a writer, but I’m ready to share my work with others.
I’m transitioning from low confidence and hiding my notebooks under my mattresses, to having the nerve to publish pieces online.
Not only that, but I call that progress.
I was born prematurely, arriving nine weeks early. This meant spending three months in the hospital before going home and growing up in a small subdivision by a lake.
