Hello everyone, my name is Lakshya Shrivastava. I am from India. It’s nice to meet you all. I’m a bit hesitant to talk about myself, so please bear with me. I never imagined that I would try my hand at writing, and I’m not sure that I’m ready to call myself a writer just yet Well, I do write — just code for my 9 to 5.
I have closely witnessed the struggle of a writer. My mom writes and she is a great writer, I don’t think I can be like her. I understand how difficult it is to make a living from writing but still, I have seen the happiness of my mom when someone praises her story, I have seen her forgetting everything in the world when she writes. I could never understand this back in the day…
The only time I tried writing was for a college drama play, mostly because I wanted to do something different. I remember my mom reading the entire script and was very proud of me. She was more proud of my script than of the job I got in tech.
So the question is why am I here?
Recently life has been a little tough for me. I realize the person I was a year ago is completely different from who I am now. I used to be very cheerful, optimistic, and ambitious.
