Hi,

After about 3 month’s here I thought I’d take a moment to introduce myself, and where better than the About Me publication.

I’m Liz, and yes I have a mouthful of a long name Holt Manning; it’s a weird result of me being lazy and not doing a lot of paperwork and the fact that we lived in Beijing when we got married where the paperwork was a thousand times harder than in Australia.

I’m a Perth girl who spent 9 years living in Beijing (read more about that here) and lives in Sydney. I’m a copywriter and content writer. My husband has a far cooler job as he does VFX for movies while I potter about writing and being a mum of our two chaos-causing kids.

I’ve wanted to be a writer my entire life; I started as a librarian before moving into teaching, and finally, about a year ago sucked it up and decided to try and make writing work for me. And so far, it has.

There’s no I made 45thousand $$$ in 12 seconds story just slow growth and small steps. All of them are taken in amongst zoo trips, moving houses, school pickups, and life in general.
