Hi everyone!
I am not new to Medium, but I am new to writing and reading on Medium every day.
In the year and a half I have been writing on Medium, I have met a handful of people I’ve come to admire, respect, and even call friends. One of those people is . Reading her About Me is how I found these About Me stories and the A-Z Acrostic way of writing them.
I have read several other About Me stories and love the connections happening because of them. So, naturally, I want to join in! Allow me to introduce myself.
Who am I? In my Medium profile, I wrote this:
“International Christian Speaker. Author. Writer. Cult Survivor. Pilot Wife. Outdoor Lover. Naturopathic Healthy Life.”
When I first began writing, it was for myself. No one was ever going to read what I wrote. Much of it was me processing life or writing in secret what I could never say out loud. Writing calmed me and decluttered the overwhelming thoughts in my head. Writing allowed me to release suppressed emotions and be vulnerable. Writing served me.
