Hello readers! I’m Losem, nice to meet you and to be on board! I’m a 40-year-old guy, the kind of person who usually avoids questions like “What are you doing in life” so writing an About Me story is quite challenging…

To summarize, I’d say I’m at the same time analytical and imaginative.

Analytical from my engineering background, from my job trying to harmonize data and their flows, from my habit of looking at numbers, patterns, trend lines, and detailed descriptions before making a decision. Believe me, I need hours of research to buy something as simple as a steamer!

Imaginative, because I need to escape this analytical part of me through music (okay, music theory is a lot about maths…), daydreaming, triggering feelings through words or pictures, books or movies with a strong atmosphere, endless talks on a summer night…

After trying to play some instruments (badly), sing (sorry, neighbors), draw (horrible), and cook (something else than pasta), I thought maybe I’d be a little more gifted in writing, so here I am! Obviously, I needed hours to compare writing platforms and their characteristics to finally choose Medium. First, I did not want to spend time on the technical stuff and focus on writing.
