María is a 28-year-old Colombian with a heart of gold — one of those rare souls you don’t come across often. Her smile shines through any situation, especially when others need it the most.
She’s learned that while life isn’t always easy, every step is worth celebrating, as people often underestimate the effort it takes just to be where they are.
What might feel like a regular “day-to-day” likely involved overcoming challenges that felt like hell along the way.

With her overachieving attitude, she’s often involved in as many things as she can possibly handle, sometimes forgetting that the task landed on her because several others had already said no.
It is a work in progress that she sometimes blames her culture for, as Colombians are the kindest-hearted people on earth and always say “yes” when it comes to helping others, even if it means losing something themselves.
