If you were really here, I’d probably be scooting over a pair of baby shoes from the floor and asking you if you take sugar in your tea.

This house isn’t perfect. There are always dishes in the sink and something bubbling on the stove.

But there’s heart in it.

Real life happens here.

I live it barefoot, with children tugging at my dress and story ideas racing through my mind faster than I can catch them.

A bit about where I’m planted

First things first — I’m born again, and I love The Lord Jesus with all my heart. My faith is the reason I rise again after hard days, the compass that guides how I mother, how I write, and how I serve.

It’s not something I say lightly. It’s woven into everything I do — quietly, deeply, and with conviction.

I live in Kenya with my husband and our children.

Our home is always buzzing with movement and noise and life. I wake up before the sun, get the kids ready for school…
