Hi everyone!

My name is Michael Esco — but you can call me Mike. I’m excited that you’ve taken an interest in me and my work.

I have a PhD in Exercise Physiology and am a full, tenured professor at the University of Alabama, in Tuscaloosa, AL, USA.

I Love My Job

I get to teach some amazing students who are pursuing their undergraduate and graduate degrees in exercise and sports science. My students seek all sorts of cool professional roles — exercise trainers, strength coaches, gym managers — basically fitness industry jobs; but also allied health professions, such as physical therapists, physicians' assistants, physicians, occupational therapists and chiropractors.
