Hello and welcome to my About Me page. I have been writing for Medium for a while now, it’s about time I wrote one of these.

I have always been interested in writing. I’d dabbled before, write a short story, or work on a screenplay. I never took writing seriously or gave my writing a proper amount of my time.

Then the unthinkable. After a long battle with her heart, my wife, Ivana, passed away in March of 2023. It was an incredibly tough year, and so painful to watch her suffer at the end. Ivana was an awesome woman, and deserved to live a full life. She was denied the chance.

I had left my job in automotive logistics to care for her. Being a caregiver is tougher than anyone can imagine who hasn’t been there. After she passed, I needed more time from work. I was re-evaluating my world. I took a good look in the mirror and wondered if I even wanted to go back to my corporate career. I think I already…
